OUR MISSIONPMI's mission is to train individuals to be professionally confident, and highly effective in the application of therapeutic
massage in a variety of health care, fitness, sports, leisure and spa settings. We believe all instruction should work toward the
bigger picture of promoting excellent health (physical, mental, and spiritual) for not only our students, but ultimately for the clients
to whom our graduates will serve. Our intent is to provide an inspirational learning environment for study of the art, science, and
business of massage therapy. We are committed to enabling our students to find spiritual peace, attain physical strength, and achieve
mental well-being to maintain long-term success in the massage therapy profession. AND. . .We are committed to continually seek new
approaches and strategies to help assure PMI graduates attain their employment goals. The students will have opportunities to build
individual client, business, professional, and institutional connections through their externship and clinic experiences.THE PROGRAMPMI's
Massage Therapy Program is an extensive 725 hour (50 credit hours) program that includes theory and practical application plus clinic
and off-site clinic work experience. Students can choose to attend the MORNING or EVENING Training Program two days/week for three
18-week semesters. Both Programs also meet most weeks a third day. Students have a choice of a evening on a Saturday morning. -----------Admission
to PMI is limited. Applicants are evaluated on the basis of education, career motivations, references, and other criteria. Massage
Therapy can be a somewhat physically demanding profession; the successful therapist is often on his/her feet many hours each day;
some medical limitations and conditions may preclude participation in this program, and certain conditions may be contraindicated
for giving and receiving massage. PMI does not discriminate on the basis of age, race, color, sex, national origin, religion, or marital
